As for me, I am still a creature composed entirely of stress and Cherry Zero, and all my non-plot tagging is languishing for a bit since what energy I have is going to my vampirate costume and props. But we're in the home stretch and then I will be back I promise! All the tags to everybody ever forever.

Anybody else watching Project Runway this season?

Oh my gosh, your vampirate costume is BEAUTIFUL. Not that I had any doubt it would be, but this is the first time I've seen most of the pieces together. I love it!

Project Runwaaaaaaaaaay. I don't even know what to do with this season. I haven't agreed with any of the winning looks, LOL. But I guess that isn't really new? Some awesome designers this year, though.

fäde was robbed this week, in my opinion. His design was so much better than Hippie Car Wash, and he didn't even make top 3. Maybe he doesn't bring enough dramz so they just don't show him.

I learned to love them when Crush came out, but dug into their backcatalogue ... I've been to see them, like, four times and never get tired of them. They're one of my all time favourite bands. :)

Having been a Jersey girl in the 80s I am contractually obligated to love me some Bon Jovi. ^___^

I think this whole year is defective but I didn't keep my receipt so there's no way I can return it and get a new 2014, alas. We just have to make the best of what we have.

In other non-Gabby-is-Ridonkulous-News, I need suggestions for easy, relaxed costumes for Dragon*Con! Right, okay, so this is still me being ridonkulous. I pretty much gave up on my epic costume plans a month ago when I realized I was going to be way too busy to put something decent together, but I love having costumes for cons, and it feels weird to not have any new ones planned. So what can I pull out of my closet (or a thrift store) and make into a decent ensemble? Bonus for comics, sci-fi, or anime-based ideas! I would love to do a Spider-man leading lady (Betty in particular), but not sure that would be recognizable enough as a solo costume. SO... HELP? :D?

well, if you'd like a costume to join one of the groups my extended gang have got going on, there's Redneck Asgard/Avengers (moar duct tape!) or possibly-steampunkish pirates (all the colors!) or 1920s-40s artistic people at a party (with or without bunny masks). Otherwise...

Do you know if they're doing a costume-photo record attempt again this year?

My Sif ideas are looking a little too complicated/uncomfortable, but I may try to rework them. Sadly I have to dress for comfort this year, boo.

Although, hmmm. I may be able to throw a pirate costume together pretty easily. ~rubs chin~ I'd need boots, though.

re: Costume photo record attempt - I have no idea. I am sadly way, way out of the loop. I can ask Amanda, though! She's been listening in on all the D*C Podcasts.

There's also always wearing whatever makes you feel awesome, costume or not ^_^ when I do that, people tend to guess I'm from some anime or other I haven't seen. Which is fun.
