The Counseling Staff Presents
Good afternoon, everyone!
As a new introduction this month (and every month from here on out) there will a Counseling Sessions post on the Wednesday after the newest round of SickBay and Room Assignments posts.
These posts will happen once a month for new and long-stay characters, and while it is posted one day a month, these appointments can and will be scattered throughout the month and your CR/the counselor's CR as needed. The post will be open for tagging at any point during the month, but once a new one goes up we will ask that you move your new requests for sessions to that one instead of tagging an old post.
(Unless there are extenuating circumstances, and then just contact us to discuss it.)
We are rolling out a whole lot of things, so I'm going to toss them out to you in bullets and tell where you can go to get all of your information before the fun begins in three days.

✩ Does you character need to sign-up for Counseling Sessions? This is the post for you HERE, where you'll sign-up with who your character is, what canon they are from, when they arrived, and how often your character would like to be being seen, including the option for these to be threaded or hand waved. There is, also, a small sign-up FAQ over here.
✩ Are you curious about who your Counseling Staff is? This is the post for you HERE, where you will find shiny faces, with contact information, as well as a "Meet The Counselors" section telling you all sorts of information about the background that brought each of the characters to this job.
✩ Do you want to join the Counseling Staff? This is the post for you HERE, where you will find the rules, requirements and instructions on how to join this awesome team and be of service to the crew of new people arriving every month as well as get access to some occasional extra CR team perks.

(Speaking of! Amanda, if need be, are you okay if Deanna winds up having to explain counselling - and what's actually involved- to Annie in a PL? Maaaay not be needed, but seeing where that thread is going.)

Emma doesn't like being exposed, but she'll play along since it means having something to do.

He needs a telepath more for her telepathic abilities and less for therapy. XD He can explain in a thread but the basic thing is sometimes his pyschometry will cause a mental over-load and will either drop him comatose or make him think he's someone else for a while. So, he needs a telepath to get him out of it.

That sounds more like something you'd want Dr. Crusher and Picard to know about already, and it's likely something Deanna would make sure was known by Picard as soon as that report file on that session came in. Because it's an unknown situation exposing two people they can't vouchsafe the security and safety of in this situation.

And he's probably going to make the therapy appointment to make it an official on record thing. She'd probably want to do some psych evaluation to get a baseline for Kale's head.

I prefer Deanna with Andrew simply because of the fellow empaths unite factor.

Grainne here has a lot of repressed emotions and an observant counselor might pick up that she's rather depressive just by physical cues, but she'd actively avoid the counselors especially if a file has been passed around. Would anyone be interested in trying to get her into a session?
