But anything else she says, any frustration with her, any tangled thoughts on how to begin to unravel what she just said disappear in a moment at what she says next.

It's hard to keep longing from his voice, because that's what he's been wanting ever since he came out of that event horizon and found out what he'd lost. "This is a place where there's still a Commonwealth?"
