Gold had come to the Arboretum for a break from his rooms, that was more like being outdoors and didn't involve fussing with the holodeck to get the setting. However, the book he'd been holding nearly fell from his hand as he spotted a rather too familiar figure standing not too far before him.

Caution however kept him from immediately calling the other man's name. The boy had proven to him the hard way that just because they looked like someone you knew, they might not actually be the person you thought they were.
