When Pavel Chekov--a quite young Pavel Chekov--materializes into Ten Forward he looks slightly less out-of-place than most of the rest of the people with him.

He tugs on the hem of his gold overshirt, looking around the room. "Ay, ayayay," he breathes, Russian accent coloring even his verbal nonsense. "Chto eto za?" he asks without thinking, not translating automatically.
