Hey all.
I'm Jeff. Yet another new player coming on board.

I'm bringing Sam Bowe with me, from the Dawn of Steam novel series.

Being from a steampunk 1819, she's going to be even more out of place than the vast majority of people ending up on board a starship, so it ought to make for an interesting adjustment period.

That, and while she is a she, by all clothing and outward appearance, most people's initial impression should really be 'he' until they learn otherwise. Sam's not likely to bother mentioning it til it becomes relevant.

Oh, and she's bringing an ornithopter with her... Bubsy is a personal flying machine with the general mentality and intelligence of a very smart dog.

Can't wait to start meeting the locals.

Kitt is absolutely amazed at the number of robots/AIs/interesting gadgets being brought on board. Oh, and the people too, of course! :)

I would ADORE to have Sam and Kate meet sometime! It's 1888 back in her world, and I have a feeling they might have a lot to talk about and bond over. She'd also be fascinated by his flying contraption. ;)
