"You're at least still terrible at hiding discomfort." Gaheris wishes a little that he wasn't quite as good at it, maybe Dylan would notice all the signs he had been leaving him. Or would at least, when the time came, would appreciate the efforts he had put into sabotaging himself. Gaheris had been loyal to his people, but not so loyal that he didn't want to give his ship the chance to prove it's superiority, to let it win.

"I want to find a way out of here. These people are strangers. If you want to talk, then after that." And he trusted them as much as he trusted any strangers, human or not. For all he knew, this could be an elaborate trick to get information out of him.

At least he could acknowledge that was a bit of a stretch.
