Eva's deference to whoever runs this ship is much smaller than Alloran's. The first thing she does upon opening her eyes is examine everything within reach to see what situation she's been plunked into. She casts a quick glance over her shoulder and sees no one approaching, and so begins to inspect her surroundings.
She chews her tongue and plucks out some hair, then runs her hands over some of the control panel. Like Alloran, she concludes it's made for bipeds, but it's not an Arn ship. It appears to be human technology, though not a make she's familiar with.
When she looks over her shoulder again, her body feels as if it's undergone an electric shock. The lizard part of her brain still recognizes Alloran as Visser Three, even as the logical part of her battles for dominance. Her most recent memories place Esplin in a transparent box, but her strongest impression was him swaggering around in this Andalite's body.
She never respected Esplin but she and Estrid both did fear him. They'd be stupid not to.
Her eyebrows raise, but her voice remains cool and wry. "Alloran. Care to tell me how we got here? Retirement home for high-profile host bodies?"
