Worf Intro and December Plotting!
Hey folks! I'm Dray and I'm hoping to app into the game with DS9's Worf this December. Since Worf was used as an NPC in a number of situations, and because he developed CR with a few of your characters, I thought I would drop a note here to plot some things.
I have a few plans for him from the get-go that I would love some input on from the mods and the cast who are closest to him:
Firstly, I think he will feel conflicted about the idea of being sent back in time to somewhere he is so familiar with. There are a lot of things that Worf is the wiser for now regarding the political shenanigans on Qo'noS, especially everything Duras, which means that he has the temporal prime directive and his own desire to see right done clashing. With K'Ehleyr on board, Worf is likely to be highly motivated to prevent her eventual death. I suspect that, faced with the experience of being a widower twice over and having had so much trouble with Alexander, that would all impact his judgement and make him kind of a dolt.
Of course he will be familiar with most DS9 crew. Any communal griping about being back in time and prodding Worf over his younger self is highly welcome on my part, though expect him not to take the latter well!
All that said, he is a stickler. I think he'll ask to see Captain Picard immediately once he realizes what is going on. From there, he might be convinced to attempt to blend in where his TNG-self left off (unless TNG Worf is existing at the same time as DS9 Worf! I'd love to hear any thoughts on that!)
So, that's my immediate plans.
Regarding CR building and maintenance, if you guys have had CR that Worf would have remembered over the past 10 years I'm game for it. Drop a comment below with the CR your character has developed with Worf and we can plan on how to continue that. If it's something relatively small I doubt he would remember everything, but we can always try!
As for cross-canon CR, I'm going to toss up another intro post in the group intro that comes around, providing I make it in. :) I love any CR any way so once that goes up I'm game for starting up new biz!
