Maybe it's not all that polite to scowl. But being polite is something she's never been good at. Never took the time to master or maintain, even despite all of Effie’s constant reprimands regarding manners. She should probably be nicer, at least for Finnick. Play nice and be nice. Honey attracts more flies than vinegar. With Peeta’s help, with the help of Haymitch and Effie and Cinna and her prep team, she had somehow managed to win Panem over while she had been within the arena. She had played that game well.

But she’s sick of games. So tired of playing ones she has no control over. And no matter what, even if she didn’t entirely get the idea of a room that could create an outside, she understood it well enough.
