His children were with their grandmother and grandfather leaving him time to himself. Time to take care of a few things and see what was out there, even if he swore he wasn't on the job anymore. Just because he wasn't didn't mean he couldn't look. Being an extractor was what he was and what he did. Though he figured that he could dabble a bit as an architect again if it came down to it.
