"They're wondering if you've ever seen a dolphin before," Trever says with his usual cheerful County Cork accent as he leans up next to her. On his shoulder a black cat flicks her tail irritably, clearly not pleased to be so close to the water, but is doing the whole "I am suffering because of you. Aren't a martyr?" look that cats are so fond of.
"Apparently," he continues, "They say, that's the look people give them when they've never seen dolphins before. However, I think it's more they feel that any sort of stupefying disbelief has to be because no one has seen anything so magnificent as them as opposed to anything else."
