One of the things that the Aegis were most concerned with was that the Q was bringing higher powers into the universe; wild cards for all the temporal powers to deal with. Maybe it was to benefit the oncoming end, or maybe it was to create a sturdier defense wall against it. The guiding will of the Aegis had always been different from the trials of the Continuum, and the destructive malevolence of Counter Strike.

Gary Seven regarded Ten Forward cooly as he drank his coffee- a near replica of that of his favorite cafe in New York. He had created the replicator program himself, from memory, without the aid of special requests of the computer. Perhaps that was one of his most eerie aspects; he never needed to ask for help from the machine with anything save the location of a person or two.

A black cat remained settled in his lap, purring with her eyes heavy-lidded, her tail lazily twitching as she regarded others in Ten Forward with her. A "god", a "wizard", people of impressive abilities. They're unique labels were given to them from their points of origin. Gods usually didn't bode well for this universe, but as a "goddess" herself, Isis could appreciate the well meaning intentions of a man of such power and honor. In fact, the idea started to make her purr, rumbling underneath Gary Seven's hand with delight.

Mr. Seven paused mid-drink, then settled his standard issue Ten Forward cup on the bar. "You're considering flirting again, aren't you," he scolded (teasingly) out loud. "Before I know it you'll be trying to hop into his arms like you do with the Vulcan." He already had caught the temporally inclined creature rubbing herself against the blue box in the hanger lovingly, a look of bliss on her face. He could detect through their psychic link that she was fond, and he could feel a little something from it too. What it was, he didn't know. That was another good reason to look around.

With all the people on the ship, he knew there was only so much investigation and acting as a nuetral observer could do. But Guinan had been here all the way through this, for some time. He trusted her judgement. So he would sit patiently and bide his time to speak with her, quietly, hopefully in private. In the meantime, he would just watch.
