Roomming Assignments and Shuffling
Good evening, Ten Forward! Our latest list of rooming assignments for August and September is going up shortly. All new applicants from this period will be assigned to a room with a roommate, unless your character has special considerations (such as an in-game significant other or family member they need to be roomed with, or a temperament/physiology that requires them to room alone).
At this time, we're also shuffling up some of the rooms who have lost a roommate due to a character drop, gained a significant other or family member through a late app, or need a reassignment for any other reason. We'll do this approximately quarterly to three times a year as new characters shuffle in and old ones shuffle out. If you would like to switch up your rooming situation, this is the post to drop us a line and let us know. We'll either put your character into the random hat and pair them up with a new roomie by dice roll, or if you have a special consideration like those listed above we'll take them into account.
Shuffling is totally optional, so if you don't make a request to do so then you will stay right where you are, no muss no fuss. To reduce confusion, below the cut is a list of everyone who's being assigned a roommate this period OR who may be switching rooms. If your character isn't on the list and you think they should be, just let us know!

We'll have a finalized list posted by tomorrow evening, but if we have overlooked anything adjustments can continue to be made until the IC roommate mixer goes up. If you see any glaring errors or omissions, just let us know. Starfleet officers may be given VIP quarters, but they still get a roommate unless otherwise specified. Our master list of rooms and roommates is located here.
ETA: And the dice have spoken! We've paired everyone together and assigned them rooms. Because we had an odd number of characters this month, Rygel XVI will get a roomie from next month's apps. If there are any questions or errors, let us know.

An IC roommate mixer post will go up on Friday, to give people time to make any IC Intros still pending. We'll continue to make adjustments to this list up to that point, if there are any errors. Some information on rooms can be located here, but we're working to have a shiny new OOC guide up by Friday as well. Feel free to hit us with any questions in the meantime!
ETA 2: Since Sundance Kid and Barbarella sadly had to drop from the game, we re-rolled for our three single guys and have roomed Rygel XVI with Tony Stark this round. Sorry, Tony. You went from a beautiful woman to, well, Rygel. But hey, you're Tony Stark, we're sure you can work with that. ;) Quark will get a roommate from next month's apps.
