Get in the car
So I heard you guys were on a space journey and I decided to come along.
Vicariously.
So anyway this kid, Shadow, is a 15 year old human fused with lion who happens to have some interesting powers. Umbregeous teleportation, or using shadows as a medium, manipulation of said shadows, and a certain amount of enhanced physical attributes. His strength may rival a Klingon or even greater, since he can lift a car at least half way off the ground.
Now, see, his problem is that he's had a rough couple years back home. Kidnapped from his family, forced to fuse with his spirit friend Orion who is the reason he looks the way he does, and imbued with dark energies. In the time he was kept under the heel of a devious school for wretched youths, he forged a deep seated distrust of adults.
Hopefully his being here can curb that attitude of his into something more positive, as I always figured star fleet to be generally a positive influence.
Too bad you stop him from being a little punk.
As a fair note to any Betazoid/psychics, you have to be an effective psychic to beable to read his mind.
On a scale of one to ten, ten being the highest, you'd have to be a 6-10 as he resists such powers.
Vicariously.

He'll talk to anyone but won't give them much of his history.
Depends on how they treat him.
Speaking of treating, the enterprise had bio filters so if he had any parasites on him, like ticks, as would be expected for someone living in the jungle for three years, the bio filters would get them right?

Hm, I don't think the biofilters would get them since he'd be zapped in by Q rather than a transporter, but everyone gets a visit to sickbay soon after their arrival and that should catch anything he might have. :)

Does Simon do exams?

an extremely belated hello!
I know I am super late to the party, I just felt I should let you know how much I am enjoying reading Shadow's threads so far. I'm pretty excited about getting to thread with him soon. :D
(I think Steve Rogers, in particular, is going to have to meet Shadow.)
Re: an extremely belated hello!
what's the cap going to think of a delinquent lion?

Re: an extremely belated hello!
Nah given there is a hero in his verse called Statesman who looks like he ripped Cap off
Captain will probably come off as a gyuy who would never understand him or how he grew up.
Might have to remedy that
Re: an extremely belated hello!
Awww. It's all good, I love unlikely friendships. Or terse acquaintances! I'm pretty much game for everything.
Re: an extremely belated hello!
because he could recognize him as a cape and prank him.

holodeck, breaking some rules like exploring the rest o the ship through the jeffrys tubes
Rules are for chumps.

Re: an extremely belated hello!
He can te... WELL he can't really teleport efficiently with all the bright lights
But he may just well explore via the jeffries tubes that will give him an easy escape route

Re: an extremely belated hello!
Point being there are repercussions for breaking the rules, is all. I think the last person who infiltrated the Jefferies Tubes and resisted arrest was brigged for three days, but they also assaulted one of the Security officers so a sentencing for going into a restricted area without assault could be less.
