I think Booker could use a little bit of Rose Tyler-type cheer. She's got experience dealing with the angsty, often self-loathing types (see: Captain Jack Harkness + the 10th Doctor on some of his days) and she is generally pretty good at keeping them smiling and laughing.

he could indeed! I play him because he pretty much never had any happiness in canon and I think he deserves some, and he will get there. It's just gonna take him a while especially with how slow I am
