Almost tagged you in the handwave cr meme and thought this would be better. Sorry so late!

I'm only a little canon familiar but was always fond of Dr Crusher whenever I saw her on TNG. I think she would remind Derek of his mom between similar looks and my headcanon for him that his mom is in the medical field (Senior RN for a Chicago hospital ER). It looks like they'd cross paths in a couple of places, if you're interested. Maybe he can somehow help w/her PTSD? Or she's open to getting to know him once he mentions how she reminds him of his mom?

Oh I could see that. I am mostly canonblind, but I would be definitely up for this! She's totally open to getting to know people as soon as she meets them, so that's always an avenue to take. Her main therapist is Deanna, of course, but she doesn't really hide the fact that she came from a pretty terrible place in between her timeline and this one, even if she doesn't always offer it right away. If he has tips on dealing with her trauma, that'd be totally fine :) Whatever the case, I'd be happy to throw them in a room together and see what happens XD

Also if he mentions that she reminds him of his mom, she'll probably immediately add him to her mother hen list. I'm only partially sorry XD

YAY! Don't be sorry! Derek came to the Enterprise from another world and he's close to his mom (family) even if he doesn't open up to them about what he does / things that haunt him so I think he's starting to really miss home and could totally use some mother henning! I'm completely on board with throwing them in a room together and seeing what happens!

He might come to sick bay because of his new found powers (power swap plot). He's never experienced having powers before, much less would have imagining having the ones he has. In short, he's starting to panic. xD

That is totally awesome. Beverly has so many feelings about being separated from your family that she has... literally not told anyone here because it hasn't happened in this timeline /buries face in hands. HAHAHA AS THE RANDOM ICON GENERATOR GIVES ME THAT ICON sdfkjhsf I'm just going to be over here in the corner /wheezes

That could work! She can probably only reassure him that he's okay and the powers aren't hurting him and then say it's probably Q's fault and it'll go away in a few days. But she can be there to keep him calm. She's getting good at dealing with literal panic attacks so XD I am totally up for this!

HA! PERFECT! (re: icon selection) He needs that family bond, particularly the mothering kind. If it isn't from his mom (since he keeps things from her), it's notably in canon from his close female friends. Derek can be a sweetheart but a stubborn idiot just the same. They tend to give him the kick in the pants needed to get his head out of his ass lol

So I went ahead with this log! Hope that's ok. I'll gladly make any changes. Let me know! <3
