New to here, not new to Kirking

Hi folks! My name is Kris. I've been playing Kirk (original flavor) for a long time. Well. 2009, really, when I realized Shatner needed more representation in the Trek RP world. Anyway, just heard about this game and thought it would be nice, after a hiatus.

I'm open to just about anything, RP-wise, though I'm also producing and acting (In a play. As Captain Kirk.) so I may be slow! You can find me on plurk at original_fine. My app is here.

I don't know what the typical IC opening salvo is, so let me know if there's something I ought to do to get Jimbo here up and running. AKA plot with me?

I'm beyond thrilled to see a TOS player around! There may have been giddy shrieking when Kirk's app came in. Welcome to Ten Forward, we're happy to have you here!

Most opening posts happen in Ten Forward, but if you'd like Jim to appear in some other area we are amenable to that. For characters not from the 24th century, they've been plucked from their canon points and dropped on the Enterprise by Q, so Jim is welcome to be as confused or annoyed by the sudden displacement as you see fit. We just posted a Welcome Post with additional links and info that may be helpful, and I'm more than happy to plot with you for something more specific if you want. I've got Picard, Geordi La Forge, and Guinan I can give you if you want any crewmen. :)

Also, dude, I am interested in the reactions of ALL THREE OF THOSE GUYS to Jimbo. Guinan is the woman of my dreams.

I'm so glad we can agree on that count! Guinan is such an underrated character. She is by far in my top 5 favorite Trek characters, and that's including every Trek canon. I just hope I do her justice. ^__^;
