ooh, Julian and Irian should do book club c: he'd be happy to read whatever Romulan literature she recommends to him probably less repetitive than The Never-Ending Sacrifice

Cultural exchange book club! This needs to be a thing. She's read a lot of war history, and also poetry. Sometimes poetry about war. A bit like The Iliad, but with Romulans. 8)

edit as it occurs to me, picking my brain for the kinds of things Romulans probably write about, that there are probably a few pieces of (probably semi-fictionalized) historical literature about the Ruling Queen that she might give him. (The first half of that wiki page needs a proofreader badly... but you get the idea.)
