So, Sinthia loves chocolate, but she's never actually had good chocolate? Like, a Hershey bar or candy bar or something, but she's never actually had like the really good stuff, or even any of the slightly-weird-but-tasty stuff.

She can't draw at all, or paint or anything, but she can give people a nearly exact vision of what she's imaging, mind-to-mind. She also has a thing for operatic music (of course Wagner, come on people) but only instrumentals.

Peggy developed a love of pulp novels while in the States. She reads quite a few mysteries, especially by Dashiell Hammett. She also knows how to cook and bake well since that was a skill that a proper young lady should learn to run a household. It's something that she doesn't tell everyone since she doesn't want to be seen in the homemaker role.

I also have the idea that when she is introduced to digital camera type technology, she will love it. Photographs are important to her and so is remembering the past. Photography will give her a chance to document and preserve history.

Bigby loves old black and white TV shows like Perry Mason.

He's very much the bachelor type, take-out and pizza with only beer in the fridge however sometimes gets in the mood to bake things like casseroles and muffins.

It's canon that he is very unsavvy with technology, it's my headcanon that this is due to a strong nostalgia he has for earlier eras of human history and his unparallelled stubborn nature.

Billy's father seriously regretted the day he first left a screwdriver within the boy's reach---little Billy had disassembled half the house in a few hours. It wasn't long before he put old junk in the garage for Billy to play with, and within a year or two it became a working laboratory.

He lived with his dad. Mom was working on a serious study in Greece, so he didn't see her too much. Their relationship was strained even further by Billy having to keep his hero duty a secret, and he's carrying a lot of guilt about that, knowing he might not see them again.

1) Julian's favorite book before he turned 15 was Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. He hasn't been emotionally able to read it since that year, because it makes him afraid he'll go through the same process of losing his intelligence that Algernon and Charlie did.

2) Before the age of 6 he would have been diagnosed somewhere on the autism spectrum, had his parents taken him to a doctor for it, and the behaviors he had were some of what was changed during the process of genetic engineering he went through. However, he still has trouble reading people and has to concentrate to be able to adeptly read social cues. This is part of the reason he puts his foot so firmly in his mouth so often. The other part is his brain works literally faster than his word-filter, so he often says things before his better judgement goes 'WAIT WAIT NO DON'T SAY THAT.' Since it played so well into his idiot act that he was keeping up before getting outed, he didn't really try to control it.

('course a good part of him being so awkward is that he is genuinely REALLY AWKWARD. Helicopter parents + too interested in studying to hang with other kids + and moving around a lot = ickle Julian not knowing how to deal with people.)

Dylan joined the Argosy wanting to be a pilot, and served in a slipfighter wing fresh out of the Academy. He'd intended to make a career as a pilot, but his nerve and daring impressed Admiral Stark of Argosy Special Operations and she recruited him, taking him under her wing. He became very well known to people in the know, and had what most would consider a stellar career in Argosy Special Operations.

The Andromeda Ascendant had been a troubled ship in her early career, and had lost a couple of captains and a whole crew. Nobody quite knew what to do with her, or who the right captain would be to provide the stability her AI needed. Dylan was way too young for most to consider him as a serious candidate for a posting as prestigious as a heavy cruiser, but Admiral Stark suggested a young command team out of Special Operations could be what she needed, and tapped Dylan. He met a lot of resistance at first from other officers but won over a lot of respect fairly quickly.

(I HAVE SO MUCH HEADCANON FOR DYLAN. SO MUCH. This is just the headcanon on how his career progressed.)

Back in middle school (grade 7/8), all the kids in his class were forced to put on a mandatory Christmas Play for their parents (or, in Peter's case, aunts and uncles!). Since Peter refused to act, and he was actually pretty bad at it, he was volunteered to do backstage stuff.

Assigned to help make the costumes, this was Peter's first opportunity to learn sewing and costume-making ... which is how he knows what he's doing when he sews his Spidey costume. He is actually a deft hand with the needle and thread!
