TEST DRIVE #6 - The Bridge and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...

Option 02. The Bridge: Well, aren't you a lucky duck? You've found yourself in hallowed quarters. Wherever you were before, you're not there anymore. Now you're in a room that could be some kind of command center or control room; there's a captain's chair flanked by seats for his chief officers, computer panels and stations at each interior wall, and before you a broad viewscreen that shows the wide expanse of space rushing towards you. Have you ever wanted to be a starship captain for a day? Well, here's your chance. Feel free to roam around, but try not to touch anything shiny.

[OOC: The Bridge isn't usually available for in-game posts, so if you've ever wanted to play there, here's your chance!]

Merlin | Merlin the Poem and Legends plus Milliways game canon | OTA, Option two

Merlin was always interested in a new adventure, and when he had seen the Enterprise coming into orbit of the planet, he had not been able to resist. He had been in the middle of a sleep cycle just then, and so he had let himself relocate, via teleportation, to an unused maintenance closet on a rather less used deck, and shapechanged into an unused broom at the back of said closet, then gone back to sleep. His magic stilled alarms and quieted sensors, and he slept for some time.

And when weeks had past and his sleep had passed with them, he woke, stretched, and rose. He pondered places to go, and decided that it was best to simply go to the top first, after all! Without ado, he did so, appearing on the bridge quite quietly. he was standing in a back space, near a usually unused control console, and smiling as he looked around.

"Well, this is going to be rather amazing, I think."

Kitty Pride aka Shadowcat | Marvel Comics | Option #1

This was not the strangest thing to happen to Kitty Pryde. If she had to rank past situations and experiences, this would rank sort of close to the top. It would rank somewhere below being a horror movie cliche and well above finding out she was a mutant. It was no where close to being stuck in a space bullet. It was no where close to being swallowed by a warwolf.

Actually, the strange things that have happened to Kitty Pryde are too numerous to mention. It is for the best that Narration stop now.

The last thing, Kitty remembered, prior to waking up in the sickbay was phasing a bullet through the Earth. She had to phase it. There had been no choice. After that, her memory was foggy.

It wasn't that she wasn't glad to be relieved her metal prison. Kitty was glad to be out of there. But she was far from home. Lockheed wasn't with her and she also had the thought that she might be getting a little too old for cross-time capers.

There was also another thought. It caused her to take a step backwards. The vastness of space from the safety of Ten Forward.

Space was not her favorite.
