TEST DRIVE #6 - The Bridge and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...

Option 02. The Bridge: Well, aren't you a lucky duck? You've found yourself in hallowed quarters. Wherever you were before, you're not there anymore. Now you're in a room that could be some kind of command center or control room; there's a captain's chair flanked by seats for his chief officers, computer panels and stations at each interior wall, and before you a broad viewscreen that shows the wide expanse of space rushing towards you. Have you ever wanted to be a starship captain for a day? Well, here's your chance. Feel free to roam around, but try not to touch anything shiny.

[OOC: The Bridge isn't usually available for in-game posts, so if you've ever wanted to play there, here's your chance!]

She turns lightly, at the hiss of the doors, eyes roaming easily down the form of the entering man. She takes but a moment to evaluate him, his presence, his threat, his demeanor- and then a moment longer to enjoy the sight. It is a rather lovely sight, if not quite as lovely as the bridge she'd found herself on. But then, with the majesty of the scenery, it might be easy to be just a little lost in it. Her lips curve a little more upward at his question, and she leans back just a bit, against that lovely railing.

"Oh you just might, at that. I don't suppose you'd like to tell me where I am?"

Terzen takes a moment to look the woman over. Bajoran, obviously, but not dressed how they are in any of the Federation records. What's Q up to this time.

"Of course. This is the Federation Starship USS Enterprise. I'm afraid you've been brought here by a being known as Q."

He can sense her attraction; being half-betazoid allows him that much... But he can't tell if she's attracted by him or the ship itself. Perhaps both?

"If I could ask you to come with me? The bridge is restricted access, by the Captain's orders."

Attraction for him, the ship, the thrill of - the Enterprise. Her eyes widen, delight flashing through her, and there's a bright, cheerful laugh at the name. Glee, thrilling through her, because what luck! Not only has she somehow found herself on the other side, but on the Enterprise! It's a moment to savor, a moment to remember, and she certainly plans to for some time. Her grin is wide, now, happy, enough so that she decides to play along for the moment. Get a tour of her new ship. What will be her new ship, at some point, she's sure. Maybe not immediately, but. In time.

"You can certainly ask. I might even accept. That depends on exactly where we'd be going. I've never been on the Enterprise before!"

"Not many Bajorans have, unfortunately." Terzen remarks, respectfully, but his frown deepens a bit more at the emotions flashing out from Kira. They're not... normal. The glee and delight seems... off, but he can't put his finger on it.

"Guests brought here by Q are quarantined to Deck 10 and surrounding areas until Sickbay can run a few standardised tests. Once done, you'll have access to the entire ship, barring any restricted areas."

He gives the rundown speech expertly, professionally.

"Unfortunately, the Bridge is one of these areas."
