TEST DRIVE #6 - The Bridge and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...

Option 02. The Bridge: Well, aren't you a lucky duck? You've found yourself in hallowed quarters. Wherever you were before, you're not there anymore. Now you're in a room that could be some kind of command center or control room; there's a captain's chair flanked by seats for his chief officers, computer panels and stations at each interior wall, and before you a broad viewscreen that shows the wide expanse of space rushing towards you. Have you ever wanted to be a starship captain for a day? Well, here's your chance. Feel free to roam around, but try not to touch anything shiny.

[OOC: The Bridge isn't usually available for in-game posts, so if you've ever wanted to play there, here's your chance!]

"I'm sure the captain might." The words were delivered with a a little smirk, her tone easy, confident, playful. She didn't turn to face the speaker until after she let them go, and there was a spark of devious mischief in the gaze that pinned the other woman that matched the tone perfectly. A rather attractive Trill, then. Not surprising, the Terrans did seem to cling to some of the same allies, both on this side and on her own. The young woman's words didn't phase her, didn't intimidate her, her answer continuing on as she pinned her gaze to the woman,

"But that won't stop me. I have a habit of getting what I like, no matter who or what stands in my way. And I think I'd like this ship."

Because the things a ship like this could do- just a glance around the bridge was enough to grant all kinds of opportunities. If she could get it back home...

Well, it, and-

"I might also like the daring, beautiful officer standing before me. The one brave enough to try and stand up for her ship?"

Suddenly Ezri wasn't sure who scared her the most--being in the same room with Jadzia Dax or the Intendant.

"Oh, you know what. It's actually not my ship. I'm not even supposed to be here. And actually, neither are you." Although Dax would take great pleasure in watching Worf escort this woman -- who was not Nerys-- off the Enterprise's bridge. It was kind of fascinating from a psychological standpoint though. Given the right situation, the right upbringing, could this be Nerys? Okay, not now Ezri, focus on the scary Intendant, you can think about talking to Kira about her possible narcissistic tendencies later.

"Why don't I show you around? Ten Forward is great this time of day." As is the brig.

Don't be frightened. So long as she kept the Intendant entertained, Nerys would have every reason to keep her around. Especially given how cute she looked in that moment, as she seemed to suddenly backtrack just a little. It was enough to make her laugh, the sound clear and amused, giving a sparkle to her gaze.

"You're right; I'm not supposed to be here. I'm supposed to be on Bajor. But this- this is so much better than Bajor." She could bring this back to Bajor with her, a new jewel in her crown, the rightful return of the Bajoran Sector's Intendant. She would bring this ship back with her, and then whatever lies Garak may have whimpered into the Regent's ears would fall flat in the face of her victory. And until that happened? This was certainly better than hiding on her homeworld. The things she could learn here, on the other side...

"So what about you, my dear thing? I know where I'm supposed to be. Where are you supposed to be, if not here?"

And where, exactly, was here? She would need to learn the name of her new ship, before she claimed and rechristened it as her own. Eventually, she would learn it.
