TEST DRIVE #6 - The Bridge and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...





Option 02. The Bridge: Well, aren't you a lucky duck? You've found yourself in hallowed quarters. Wherever you were before, you're not there anymore. Now you're in a room that could be some kind of command center or control room; there's a captain's chair flanked by seats for his chief officers, computer panels and stations at each interior wall, and before you a broad viewscreen that shows the wide expanse of space rushing towards you. Have you ever wanted to be a starship captain for a day? Well, here's your chance. Feel free to roam around, but try not to touch anything shiny.

"I mean they're from the Enchanted Forest, not from Storybrooke." He's not sure he made that clear before.

"I'll keep that in mind." He hasn't made any close friends in his time here yet, so he doesn't really have anyone to talk to, but he's not sure how much he wants to discuss just yet with this woman who's so important to his father.

"Oh." That's a problem. Things in the Enchanted Forest don't exactly have the same dynamics as Storybrooke. That should be interesting should she ever run into them.

"Can you show me around?" She asks softly. "I suppose I may as well get used to this place."

[kepthimhuman]

"Sure. There's not too much to see. Most of the ship is off limits to guests." He has a feeling there's going to be a lot to explain.

[chippedvaliance]

"That's counterproductive." She replies warily. "What do they expect us to do if we're not allowed in many places on the ship?"

[kepthimhuman]

"I haven't quite figured that out yet. We're just guests, basically, so there's not much that's expected of us."

[chippedvaliance]

"I suppose that means there aren't any jobs to take on to amuse ourselves with." She frowns at this. "Do they, at least, have a library?'

[kepthimhuman]

"The jobs are all done by members of the Federation. They're the ones in uniforms." He points someone out so she can see what he means.

He holds out the PADD device. "Books can be read on these. It's not the same as a library, I know, but it's something."
