That works! I probably won't have her know anything specific about this incarnation, but she'll definitely have heard of the Doctor and be very confused about what he actually looks like. She might ask why he doesn't have a scarf or some other incorrect assumption.

*snicker* Although, if you go off of the look of his last incarnation as what he's "supposed" to look like, 8 has voiced a distinct dislike of the 7th Doctor and his choices while he lived in that life. But whichever one you go with is totally awesome :D
