Test Drive #7 - Ten Forward and Captain's Yacht

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...





Option 02. The Captain's Yacht: Oooh, you sneaky stowaway! You've found yourself in a very exclusive part of the ship: Captain Picard's personal craft, used for short jaunts when a shuttle just won't do. (One must retain some decorum, after all.) It may not be as large as the Enterprise itself, but there are sure to be some surprises aboard once people start snooping.


[OOC: The Captain's Yacht is located at the very base of the Enterprise's saucer portion, so if you put someone in there you can also play them trying to get back to somewhere they know!]

"It's fine. I understand." She murmurs. Emma has had to deal with that more often than Belle has. "Um, I think so? If that has Starfleet in it." She isn't up to date with pop culture. Storybrooke is pretty secluded from the rest of the world and she doesn't read many comics herself. Not that she had the chance to. She spent the better part of twenty eight years in captivity. "Have you heard of it before?"

"Henry has, so I paid attention.... a little," She admitted softly, with a small smile. A smile that she got when thinking about Henry. She smiled at Belle. She had a bit more experience with pop culture than the other woman did, having moved around so much.

"How long have you been here?"

Belle finds it heartwarming that Emma remembers her son so fondly. Hopefully the Henry here will treat Emma better than he treated Belle. "Well his enthusiasm may have helped you." "Just a week or so. I found Rumple as well. I'm not sure if anyone else is here."

"So mot long then," Emma stated. "pop culture isn't that scary. I've tried to help Hook, I could help you too."

Her eyes widened because what if she didn't know who Hook was?

"No, not really." She shrugs her shoulders. The mention of Hook still makes her prickly to the core, the man did shoot her in back, but she knows the two of them are seeing each other. "What's that look for?" Belle giggles a bit. "Aren't the two of you together?" She waves a dismissive hand. "Anyway, I'd love to learn some pop culture. Maybe I won't feel so behind on the times if I do."

Emma laughed a bit. "That look was me realizing that you might not know who Hook is. I mean I don't even know when your from."

"Yeah, I guess you could say that," She admitted, looking down at floor. She still wasn't sure how she felt about having feelings for Hook, but she did.

Belle hesitates. Oh. Well that answered questions for one of them. Emma is also from her past. As far as she could see Emma was giving Hook a chance. Belle has no place in saying that Emma should be careful considering her husband is the Dark One. "Well what was your last memory?" She tilts her head to the side. "Why don't we start there and catch up?"

Emma nods and motioned to the table behind them to sit. She also feared she was going to need a stiff drink for this, but she wanted a clear head.

"Hook and I had returned from the enchanted Forrest, and I unintentionally hurt Regina. Where are you from?"

She follows of course. "Much further ahead than you are." She answers easily. "That's a few months or so in the past for me." She makes a face. "I've been informed if I tell you what happens it won't change anything but--" A sigh. "I'm sure you know things don't stay peaceful for long."

"So you're not telling the future in your spare time?" She raises an eyebrow, smirking a little. She wouldn't mind hearing about her future, only if she believed it wouldn't change anything.

"Oh I'm well aware," She said with a nod. "So, have there been any wars here?"

She snickers some herself. "I don't think I'd make a very good Oracle." After all, she isn't the one with the powers for that. "It would be a neat party trick." Belle looks a little wary at the mention of wars. "Not that I know of currently but I haven't had much time to sift through the electronic library yet. This ship is pretty peaceful except for some guy trying to choke a bunch of people a few days back. I think he ended up in the brig with a few others."
