Test Drive #7 - Ten Forward and Captain's Yacht

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...





Option 02. The Captain's Yacht: Oooh, you sneaky stowaway! You've found yourself in a very exclusive part of the ship: Captain Picard's personal craft, used for short jaunts when a shuttle just won't do. (One must retain some decorum, after all.) It may not be as large as the Enterprise itself, but there are sure to be some surprises aboard once people start snooping.


[OOC: The Captain's Yacht is located at the very base of the Enterprise's saucer portion, so if you put someone in there you can also play them trying to get back to somewhere they know!]

"Seriously?" She said, arching an eyebrow at him. "And I thought that things couldn't get any stranger than Storybrooke."

He had to give a soft brief chuckle at that. "Indeed."

He shifts in his seat to sit facing her now before continuing. "There's a creature in this world, called Q. He's why we're here. Believe it or not, he's far, far more powerful than I am. Time and space matter not to him, nor his magic. There are people from all sorts of different worlds and timelines on this ship with us."

"Fantastic," She said in the driest voice humanly possible. "I don't suppose there is anyway to stop him?"

"He doesn't seem to have an villainous motives in mind fortunately. He seems to be treating this as if he's doing us all a great favor, by giving us a vacation from our dull, boring lives." The last part of that statement is given with a deadpan mockery. Because since the curse broke, or rather perhaps since Emma has come into his life, their lives had ceased to be dull or boring.

"As for stopping him, I suspect there isn't unfortunately."

Emma nodded, and she sighed. "I see that you're enthused to be here?" She stated. "I saw Henry... and Neal."

"Ah, yes." He doesn't sound all too enthused about that topic either. It's a bit of a sore point in ways for him, especially given the fact that all his attempts to get Bae to have anything to do with him, to speak with him, end miserably in failure. "I suspect Bae -- Neal would like it better if I wasn't here, and Henry...he's something of a complicated situation. He's not the Henry we know...unless in your Storybrooke, I happen to be raising him instead of Regina." He has his doubts that is the case, so far everyone besides Henry who has arrived from their world has been from his own timeline. Yet, Q had brought Henry...it was entirely possible for this Emma to be from a timeline that was different than his own.

"You can call him Bae," She said. "It's his name, whether he wants it or not," She said, leaning forward a bit at the mention of Henry.

"How about you uncomplicate it for me?"
