I got questions. You got answers?

Congratulations! Thanks to a particularly bizarre set of circumstances, you've been chosen to represent your species in some intergalactic pageant. You can't escape, and you actually have to try to win it because Reasons (buying the rest of your team time to accomplish their goal maybe, or because the organizers will kill you if they think you're not trying, or because you actually want to win).

What's your talent, and what's your answer to 'why should you win this pageant?'

Poor humanity. If Pyrrha's your best hope in a competition...

She looks interesting, at least, in some outfit she made for herself, but the talent she's chosen is voguing which she isn't actually awful at but never wins competitions for on Earth, but maybe aliens have different criteria for dance. she'll still lose

And her speech is the sort of thing you get from someone who didn't prepare one ahead of time and is also kind of a space cadet.

"Okay, so... I think I should win because sometimes people get picked last for things a lot, and--in gym class, right? I didn't go to school so I don't know. But, like, I know how it feels to lose at things, and it kinda hurts, especially when you tried your hardest. You see that in movies all the time, where the underdog always ends up winning. The music gets all sad, makes you think they're gonna lose like everybody said they would, but then they win--and you know, coming in here, I don't think anybody thought I could win. I fell off the stage in the apocalypse-wear portion. I know everybody saw that. But I still came back out and kept trying, and that ought to count for something; so if this is like a movie, you have to vote for me."

Booker has exactly one talent he can do in a setting like that and not get in trouble for: he'll play guitar. No violence involved there.

His answer:

"Look, I'm sure most of these people here are better people than me--maybe all of 'em. But I think I'm about as human as it's possible to be, flaws and all, and maybe these other folks don't represent their kind as thoroughly as I do mine."
