Plotting Post: Alemar III, Day 3
Good evening, players!
In preparation for mixing teams on Day 3 of our Alemar III plot, this is your first (but perhaps not last) plotting post. Your plotting e-mails should still be updated and used as you need them, but since there were some issues with the e-mails for some, we wanted to be sure everyone had a place where they could request CR, ask questions, and make plans. Here's a link to our last update for any who missed it. We're going to re-post some information below, but feel free to jump straight into the comments section if you want.
There has been lots of discussion about "Team #1-10," but if you can't remember who's on which team, here's a refresher:
Where is everyone located/what are they doing: Once Day 3 objectives begin, your characters will start in their assigned places. From here, systems should begin working properly (doors should start opening, and elevators should start running), and those trapped in cave-ins should either be dug out with help, or have gone through the tunnels to find an exit. In the main underground cavern, the Crystaloids will rally for one last battle against Teams #8 and #9, and as members from other teams will no longer be trapped, they can join in and help or stand by and watch as the rest of the action unfolds.
After the above has had some time to develop, Deanna Troi will step forward and ask for the fighting to stop between all factions. It's at this point that she will be joined by Terzen T'Karr, and Teams #3 and #4 should come forward with the information they were given in their plotting e-mails. At this point, the mysteries of Alemar III will be unveiled and characters who are invited to help in establishing the peace treaty with the Crystaloids will be engaged in that work, while those who are left will be seen to in whatever fashion needed (ie: if your character is wounded, incapacitated, or otherwise in need of medical assistance; if your character was separated from a close friend and looking for them; etc).
Finally, characters will be shuttled back to the Enterprise while Deanna and those who assist tie up any loose ends with the scientists who remain on Alemar III and the Crystaloids.
How this will be played out: Friday afternoon (US EST [GMT-4]), we will put up a post for the main cavern in the underground facility where the majority of the action will occur, and this can be used as a party post for characters from all teams to congregate (except for team #3). Your teams should arrange posts for any of your Day 3 objectives that happen prior to entering the cave. This post will be for the main action of congregating and fighting the Crystaloids. Saturday afternoon (US EST [GMT-4]), we will post another party post for everything that happens afterwards (this is where team #3 will enter the scene, along with Terzen T'Karr and members of team #4). Deanna will step forward, talks will begin, and subthreads will be arranged for the lost and wounded to reunite with the right parties. Sunday afternoon (US EST [GMT-4]) is when all characters will depart from Alemar III. A post will be made to establish this happening, and wrap up Deanna's loose ends, but tagging is not required unless your character needs to (much in the same fashion as the departure from the Enterprise was handled).
If any other arrangements need to be made, let the mods know below in the appropriate subthread. We're here to help, and clear up any confusion or questions you might have!
Those IMPORTANT DATES again:
>> Friday, Sept. 12th (GMT-4) Day 3 posts will begin; all Day 2 posts should be made by then
>> Sunday, Sept. 14th (GMT-4) The final Day 3 posts will go up, all characters will return to the Enterprise
>> Monday, Sept. 15th (GMT-4) Business as usual will resume, with any plot fallout on the Enterprise commencing
REMEMBER: Backtagging is love, and can continue for as long as it takes to wrap up your in-progress objectives after Monday. There is no cut-off date, so keep tagging at whatever pace is comfortable for you. This is for fun.
Okay, to keep things from getting overwhelming we've given each team a subthread (except for Team #10, since they have been split up to help with other teams already), plus a few places for general questions and requests. Players who want to plot with members of another team can just find that team and drop them a note, request assistance under their team's heading, or offer a character who doesn't already have something to do (for instance: if a member of the engineering team, once everything is fixed, wants to join in helping fight or rescue trapped characters). Toss some ideas around, make some new sub-plots, and have fun!

Once the ceasefire is called, though, he's going to have some issues, because he has an insanely fast metabolism and hasn't eaten or drunk for three days. The combination of that and the fact that he's been digging and fighting hard for days is going to leave him weak and wiped out, but he's a stubborn sod and refuses to give into his stupid body being weak while fighting is happening.
After, though? He might fall over and be too weak to get up. Or he might just look really exhausted, but he'll be a mess and not willing to admit it.
Assuming he doesn't get wounded ...

After he gets back to the Enterprise, Dylan is probably going to start having some trouble adjusting to life suddenly stuck on somebody else's spaceship (the boy has issues he only deals with by being so caught up in the things he and his spaceship are doing in his world).
So who wants to have a drink with an unhappy but not really wanting to talk about it starship captain?
(Harper, you probably don't have much choice about having a drink with him.)
