shout your confessions meme!
I saw this at another game and it amused me enough that I decided to steal it and post it here for the amusement of our cast.
So, here you go~
SHOUT YOUR CONFESSIONS MEME!!!
1. Post your character shouting a confession. ALL CAPS LOCK, ALL THE TIME.
2. ICly react to others' confessions.
3. That's it. That's the meme.

[Yes, Julian is just curious. HE DON'T CARE.]

WELL. That's fine. ]
It's... complicated. My bones break to reshape themselves since I... fully transform into a wolf-like state. The muscles tear too but it's really not as noticeable. It's not exactly comfortable but I don't really notice any discomfort anymore.

Frankly it sounds like it should be much more than uncomfortable...and the different structures between a canid and a human--well, it doesn't really sound as if it should work at all.
Then again, I can call a shapeshifter a friend, and I've seen rather well what they can do, even if I haven't quite figured out how they manage it yet.
no subject
[ Other shapeshifters? Well, now that's interesting. ]
I'm guessing your friend is a bit different than me. This was.... More like an infection. I wasn't born like this. I just learned to deal with it.

[He can accordingly drop it. It does sound like it'd be awful to think about.]
Just a little. Technically he's not humanoid at all, it's just a convenient shape for dealing with us...and he was born that way, however their reproductive system works.
[He doesn't want to think about Founder sex but now he is, GAH.]
no subject
It's not good.
[ Marion is way too curious but she refrains from asking more. ]
Must be an... interesting species.
no subject
[It's probably for the best, Julian actually knows surprisingly little about them.]
Very. They're not too fond of most other species. Odo's a notable exception to that.

[ She will LOVE the holodeck. For setting up needed hiking trips when she needs to tire herself out. ]
I guess that means you're lucky to know him.

As long as you're not one of the bad ones, eating people for fun.
no subject
Or. Uh. Just... ew. No. I don't eat people.
no subject
Then whatever. There are worse things in the world, y'know?
no subject
[ Cue one skinny bloke in a stripey suit who doesn't look very concerned. ]
no subject
Uh.
That.... might not be comforting depending on the type.
no subject
But he was a pretty good bloke. Helped us a lot on the planet.
no subject
Maybe I'll get to meet him.

[ Confused Andromeda galaxy boy, activate! ]

[ Crap. Best timing ever, Dylan Hunt. ]
I have a weird condition. On full moons I turn into a very large wolf-like creature. It's considered a curse.
I deal with it just fine.
~shrug~ what can I say, he's a helper!
... Huh.
You actually ... transform into something else?
I can ... kinda see why people might call that a curse.
no subject
Yeah. It's not exactly what I'd define as fun.
A lot of stories depict us blood thirsty monsters. I'm.... not like that.
no subject
[ He pauses for a moment, because this is kind of an awkward thing to find out about somebody. Especially for a person who's never heard a werewolf story in his life. ]
If it helps, I don't care what the stories say.
[ He knows a little something about how stories grow in the telling. There are stories that call Dylan an angel of death. In general, he'd argue with that particular characterization. ]
no subject
[ She is very glad that he's treating her like a normal person. ]
At least you don't have any weird preconceptions. It's a little refreshing.
no subject
I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want anyone to judge me on some of the stories that get told about me.
Besides, it's who you are that counts, not what people say.
[ Idealistic? Yes. But at least he genuinely believes what he says. ]
no subject
[ She smiles slightly. ]
The truth is more complicated. It always is.
no subject
How about we make a deal? You don't think I'm a wild-eyed zealot and I won't think you're a monster.
[ Word about his plan to restore the Commonwealth has gotten around. You can't trust stories. ]
We might just have to get to know each other to find out the truth.
