TEST DRIVE #6 - The Bridge and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...

Option 02. The Bridge: Well, aren't you a lucky duck? You've found yourself in hallowed quarters. Wherever you were before, you're not there anymore. Now you're in a room that could be some kind of command center or control room; there's a captain's chair flanked by seats for his chief officers, computer panels and stations at each interior wall, and before you a broad viewscreen that shows the wide expanse of space rushing towards you. Have you ever wanted to be a starship captain for a day? Well, here's your chance. Feel free to roam around, but try not to touch anything shiny.

[OOC: The Bridge isn't usually available for in-game posts, so if you've ever wanted to play there, here's your chance!]

Have a power ranger :)

The doors swooshed open and Andros stepped onto the bridge, fully intending on apologizing on behalf of his team for completely and utterly lying to the entire Enterprise crew. But, well, this wasn't normal. The woman in front of him wasn't Astronema, Divatox or any of the others but she was made from the same mold. Including the clothing. Karone might have liked it--Andros made a mental note to talk to Karone about her choice in clothing. He liked the one piece jumpsuit he had given her. The one that looked kind of like a poorly fitting sack.

And now it looked like Andros was going to have to apologize for probably wrecking Captain Picard's bridge.

"I really don't think so."

He's cute. Can she keep him?

The sound of the doors was enough to catch her attention, causing her to turn lightly to face the man entering. Well- 'man,' was a term she used loosely. He was young, more a boy almost, save for the set in his eyes, the look on his face. And oh, that tone in his voice. She laughed, in response, the sound bright as her head tilted back with it, just a little, her arms moving behind her slightly to support herself against the railing as she leaned back. Then her eyes were pinned to him, taking him in once more, her gaze roaming quickly.

Maybe less 'boy' than she might have initially thought. And entertaining, with a tone like that. She liked entertaining Terrans. She tended to let them live longer.

"You don't? I can't imagine why not. I've only just arrived, and I can already see that it's a lovely ship. She would make a beautiful prize, the pride of any fleet. Tell me, what's her name?"

She can share with Ashley. I'm sure that would go over well :D

Andros was wearing his ship's uniform, and while he wasn't as muscular as, say, TJ, he did wear it well.

"Why should I tell you? You're doing a great job of playing make believe all by yourself. I wouldn't want to ruin your fun." The ranger quipped back.

Andros side stepped, placing himself at an angle to the woman. And the woman, well, he knew that look. That was the look Ashley gave him when they first met. It was a little uncomfortable. He wasn't quite sure how to deal with it then and he still wasn't sure how to deal with it now.

It's okay, she'll just claim Ashley for her own too. ;D

"How generous of you," she smirked in return. Oh yes, he was amusing. She just might keep him. Take him back to the other side with her, when she returned with this prize. "But I much prefer to relish in reality, not fantasy. It makes it much more fun when I make it come true."

She kept her gaze pinned to him, watched as he shifted. Turning where she leaned against the railing ever so slightly, to remain facing him. He was bold. And amusing or not, she would keep an eye on him.

She almost sounded like Astronema. Not similar in voice but similar in style, including her love of tight black clothing and silver head bands. But unlike with Astronema, he had no reason to hold back here and hope for the best.

"I'm a generous person. But you might as well get used to fantasy, because that's as far as you're going to get."
