TEST DRIVE #6 - The Bridge and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprise's off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...

Option 02. The Bridge: Well, aren't you a lucky duck? You've found yourself in hallowed quarters. Wherever you were before, you're not there anymore. Now you're in a room that could be some kind of command center or control room; there's a captain's chair flanked by seats for his chief officers, computer panels and stations at each interior wall, and before you a broad viewscreen that shows the wide expanse of space rushing towards you. Have you ever wanted to be a starship captain for a day? Well, here's your chance. Feel free to roam around, but try not to touch anything shiny.
[OOC: The Bridge isn't usually available for in-game posts, so if you've ever wanted to play there, here's your chance!]

"Er, yeah. I do." Luckily the doors opened at the moment and Henry stepped out, looking around. "This way?"

"If we get lost we can always ask someone." She assumes if this the deck with a lounge there will be more people around. "And I'm sorry." She adds. "I didn't mean to pry." It's unknown to her why it makes him uncomfortable but the least she can do is not make it any worse.
"Why don't we try this hallway?" She heads in that direction. Is anything on this ship labelled? She hopes so. It's terrible to navigate through halls that all look the same.

He nods again and follows her down a hallway. "Hey. I can hear people this way." And at last, they had found the lounge!
no subject
Ah the Ten Forward lounge. Talk about a sight to see with different species intermingling together. Some dressed in Starfleet uniforms and some more casually. Wait are those aliens or are those costumes? One thing gets answered when they enter the lounge in light of the huge curved windows close to some of the tables.
"Um, Henry." She blinks. "I don't think we'll be getting back to anywhere we're familiar with any time soon." Are those stars out there? This is pretty sophisticated if it's just an airplane but she gets the feeling that it isn't.

Walking slowly towards the windows, he looked out into space. Belle was right. There was no way to get home from here. Not by their own means. He let out a deep breath and headed instead for the bar. He needed a drink.

"How did we get in space?"
It's normal to pass from the Land of No Magic to anywhere else such as the Enchanted Forest, or Neverland but--this just seemed far-fetched.
"Better yet where are we going?"
no subject
"No idea." He shrugged, appearing not phased by the situation.
no subject
"It'd be nice if people started to ask before ripping people from one world to the next." He's taking this rather well which is even stranger. It makes her question if he's been here before.
no subject
"I agree. But where's the fun in that for the bad guys?"
no subject
"I could use a break from being a part of other people's plans." A slight frown but it doesn't stay for long. "Can I ask you about your life?" Her tone a little timid. "I'd like to know, but only if you want to share. Since we're stuck here I figure we have all the time in the world."
no subject
"You can ask." That didn't mean he would answer. He's on edge now, scared of her reaction to how he got his magic in the first place. At least he didn't have the same crocodile skin Rumplestiltskin had.
no subject
She tilts her head to the side. "Well do you have a family now? I figure you're old enough to be married if you've met anyone yet." She smiles. "What are some of your hobbies now? I mean the sky's the limit. There are a lot of years missing between the both of us."
no subject
"I have a wife and a son." He pulls out his wallet from his back pocket, pulling out a photograph of the three of them. "Alleyne and Noah. He's about six in this photo so it's quiet old. But I think he'll always be that age to me." Certain magical abilities don't help that.
"As for hobbies, I don't really do that much. I run the pawn shop now. Noah's actually the sheriff. And the rest of my free time I spend with my family."
no subject
"Do you spend all your time in Storybrooke or can we still not cross the town line in the future?" From her point in time it was just a wall surrounding the town but who knows. They haven't had much luck leaving regardless.
no subject
"Personally, yes. I don't see any reason to leave when my family is in town. But it is possible for others to leave so there are descendants all over the east coast now. At least. I haven't really been able to keep in touch with them all so who knows how far we've spread." He laughs and puts the photo back so it's safe.
no subject
"Storybrooke is small. While I wouldn't want to leave I still want to see the rest of the world. I've become less and less of a fan of small spaces." From being confined to a castle (somewhat), then imprisoned, and then trapped again in town. She about had it with limitations.
