TEST DRIVE #2 - The Holodeck/Ten Forward

Where were you a minute ago? Well, you aren't there anymore. Instead, you're standing in a very large, dark room lined with yellow. There are doors at either end of it.

Here's where things get a little choose your own adventure-y. You could:

1: Approach a console filled with buttons, located a few feet away. Press one, and it'll let you out of the room. Travel down a long hallway and you'll be in Ten Forward, the Enterprises' entertainment lounge. Have a drink, mingle and try to figure out why you're here.

OR

2: Maybe you just muttered some vague request under your breath. Maybe you wished aloud you were somewhere else. Or for help? If you did, might be in a fire station. Muttered something about killing whoever dumped you here? Surprise - you're in a slasher movie!

Though they're confusing, these visions feel about as real as they can be. And guess what - other people can experience those fantasies with you, as if they too were really there. How ever will you escape? Or do you want to?

[OOC: Welcome to the Holodeck! If you choose this option, whatever your character chooses to say out loud will cause a virtual reality program to load and play. While your character feels as if what they're experiencing and seeing is quite real, they're purely living through the latest and best in what he Enterprise has to offer in entertainment. Make sure to detail what your character's fantasy is, so that those threading with them will know how to react.

Open til next month's test drive!]

Alone at a very comfortable chair to one side is a certain Ambassador with a decidedly different humor than the Betazoid one. She idly rests her hand on her visibly pregnant belly. There was a slight smirk on her face. All of these newcomers were quite amusing and interesting to watch but she kept her distance for now. "Never a dull moment on this ship," she said as she took a sip of water.

"What about Senator Navarro? What did those digs..."

A man in a, clearly military, uniform pauses, having been winked in mid-sentance. His eyes widen as he looks around, startled.

The man is Captain John "Black Jack" Geary, temporary Admiral of the Alliance Fleet, and this is not where he expected to be.

After his deliberations with the Alliance Grand Council, he and Co-President of the Callas Republic, and member of the Alliance Senate, Victoria Rione, had stepped outside...

...now Rione was nowhere to be found and Geary found himself in some sort of swank bar. He pales, looking around a bit more.frantically.

"Ancestors preserve me..." He mutters under his breath.

While he's not entirely sure how he got out of that strange room with the lines, Iroh is glad to be in a place with something he does understand - people. The deco is different, but he knows a bar when he sees one.

He mills about a bit, mostly engaging in people-watching. He spies an important-looking bald man tell an opening on the wall to dispense tea of a variety he hadn't heard of - and a cup materialized out of nowhere!

After a moment of fascination passed, Iroh approaches the peculiar opening, and examines it for a bit before he decides to test it, hesitantly addressing the device in the same manner as the previous man: "Jasmine tea, hot?" A cup appears after a moment, and Iroh takes it. There's a bit of curious admiration that's he's holding a cup of tea that appeared out of nowhere, but he heads back to milling about for a few minutes before he samples his tea.

And promptly sprays it out where he stands, then coughs. "What kind of excuse for tea is this?!"

More often than not, Henry avoided Ten Forward. He hated being stared at like he was child. He may be in the body of one that didn't mean anything and these people shouldn't be so judgemental. So instead, he frequented the holodeck. He'd been working on a program of Storybrooke and Q had been kind enough to leave a template in the ship's computer so Henry didn't have to start from scratch.

Today he was working on his bedroom in the house in Mifflin Street. Despite having not lived there for almost a year, it was home. And he'd expected to be able to go back there once his plan was completed. He'd gotten the bed in the right place and was lying on it, telling the computer the commands to add or remove objects. It felt good to order something around since he didn't have the Dark One dagger, even if it was just a machine.
