Hey hey, Everyone!

All of our December applicants are in the process of being ... well, processed! Thank you all for your patience, as you know it's been a busy month. We'd like to take a moment to roll out the welcome mat, get to know all our new players and muses, and give you all a very warm hello! We're really looking forward to getting to know everyone!

To get you newbies started, your mods are here as always to answer any questions you may have, so you will see some helpful links below. This space can also be used to meet, mingle, plot CR, and update other players on who you play and where their Intros are. Oh myyyy~!

☆ OOC contact and information: Now that you're here, you can hit up our OOC Contact Post to let us know who you play and what the best means of getting in touch with you are. This post is locked to members of the OOC community, and it is optional. You can leave any fields blank if you don't want that information public, and post what you're comfortable with. All of the mod contact info you may need is right over here, so don't be shy about poking us if you need anything!

☆ Game updates: We strongly recommend you join, follow, and/or track our OOC Community ten_fwd_ooc. It's the best way to stay up to date with the game and any announcements from your mod team as soon as they happen.

☆ Getting started: You can intro your character as soon as you have your game clearance. The standard setup is to be winked into Ten Forward by Q, but you can also tag into someone else's post or enter your character anywhere that isn't in a restricted area (ie: the bridge, engineering, crew operations). If you need special arrangements—such as an immediate Sickbay visit—leave a comment letting us know!

Quarantine, Sickbay, and Rooming: Your characters' first few days on the ship will involve a lax quarantine to guest quarters, Ten Forward, and the lifts/hallways between the two only, until they've passed a basic medical check and had some vaccinations. Due to the holidays, our next Sickbay log is TBA. After their Sickbay visits, characters will be released from quarantine, assigned permanent rooms, and allowed to move more freely around the ship. All new characters are assigned a room and a roommate by random draw. There will be an OOC post about room assignments this weekend, once all pending apps are completed, where we will announce when the IC Roommate Mixer-slash-Holiday Party will go up. This will include a linked IC tour and introduction to the ship.

☆ Plotting and CR: December's plotting meme is located here, or you may leave a comment directly to this post if you're looking for any particular plots or CR for your character. Tag around other people's requests, and make some new connections! Plotting/CR Memes typically go up the last Monday of every month, as do announcements for next month's plots/events and a log swap meet.

☆ Mod Announcements: You can follow mod announcements using the admin: mod post tag here in the OOC comm. Our last announcement can be located here, have a look at your earliest convenience! Please note: AC will run January 10th - 23rd, but all December apps will be exempt until the next AC period.

YES, YES HE DOES. I ... will apologize in advance if he says something stupid, though. Helena's love life is of great interest to him. >_<;;

Basically I want threads with Zoey and ALL of mine, ngl. You are one of the players I've been longing to thread more with while my RL has been doing its tailspin, so seriously any time, any place. I am there. :D

OMG I sort of hope he does, because it would be hilarious. And Zoey does need the full Pete experience. XDD It will certainly be interesting. And Zoey will probably give him so much shit. And then talk to Helena later about him after that first run-in. "Pete shows an inordinate amount of interest in your love life. Just saying".

You do realise I will be throwing Zoey at your characters forever then, right? MUST NEEDS HAVE ALL THE GABBY CHARACTER CR! All the time, all the places.

I welcome ANYONE giving Pete shit, seriously it's too hilarious to waste. Sorry Zoey, but you and Helena are beautiful women, he can't not think about it. Also he has a vested interest in this relationship working out so Myka doesn't run off on him. :D?

I realize this now, and I HAVE NO REGRETS. YES PLEASE, ALL THE THREADS. I AM DOWN. ♥♥♥♥!
