TEST DRIVE #5 - Low Gravity Gymnasium and Ten Forward

Option 01. Ten Forward: The first thing you see is a bar. A large, lively bar filled with many different faces and many different smells, sights and sounds. This is Ten Forward, the Enterprises' off-duty lounge; feel free to get acquainted with your fellow travelers and try to find somebody who's in charge: this is your new home now, after all...

Option 02. Aboard the Enterprise, The Low-Gravity Gymnasium: The gym is a large room with several alcove-like sections housing the aerobics and martial arts areas, a parrises squares area, an anbo-jyutsu court, and a separate fencing room. While there is normally a zero-gravity area as well, today all of the gym is in zero-gravity conditions.
Zero-gravity can be, well, kind of weird, because it's not like a gradual loss of the pressure holding you to the floor--you may have taken the turbolifts, just expecting to take a leisurely run, or maybe work out with a treadmill to get in some cardio, but the minute you step into the gym you're floating, as is anything you might have been holding or bringing with you.
Do you freak out, start flailing and trying to swim through the air back to where you can escape? Do you make the best of it and tough it out to get your exercise in, or do you start having fun with the sudden game of weightlessness? Pick your personal scenario and have fun with all the other weightless people.
Jack Frost | Rise of the Guardians
What he's worried about is the absence of Earth and his friend, the Wind. Baby Tooth chattered and hid in the hood of his sweatshirt. With so many adults in here, he knew he would not get answers very fast. And he wasn't sure if there were children here either and, if so, did any of them believe in him?
[OOC: Essentially, those who are spiritually inclined, kids who easily believe in Santa Claus, things like that, can either see him right away or not take too much take to believe. Obviously, adults are harder and/or they're more scientifically inclined XD]
Re: Jack Frost | Rise of the Guardians
Yuna walked up to him slowly with a nervous smile spread across her lips. "Are you alright?"
no subject
Although, now that she got a good look at her clothes, it certainly wasn't something on Earth. And he'd been to nearly every culture out there.
"Y-Yeah... I'm fine. You... you can see me?"
no subject
"Why wouldn't I?"
no subject
Older cultures had called him something else and he wasn't so obscure over there but in America? Not so much. Well, at the folklore of other cultures not centered in Europe.

"My name's Yuna." She smiled brightly, using her introduction to find something else to say.

Yuna nervously laced her fingers together in front of her as she spoke.

She rushed up to the figure and asked,
"Oh you poor dear, are you hurt?"
no subject
Jack felt Baby Tooth squeak and dive back into his hood. He was familiar with a lot of spirits and creatures of the unseen world but... well, squid ladies were not one of them.
"I'm fine, thank you. I just... didn't expect to end up... here. Wherever here is."
no subject
She smiled slightly to herself.
"Still, it is an interesting bit of magic. I would just love to know how its done."
no subject
"But aren't you... I dunno, going to be okay not being in any water?"
no subject
"That is something new," he said, taking a moment to set his drink down before holding his hand out to the fallen boy. "Is it usually for you to enter a room in such a manner?"
Takegami was Japanese, with a slight accent that sometimes thickens when he hits a word he doesn't use that often. While he was dressed richly, the shabbiness of the clothing and the slight unkept look of his hair spoke of either not having resources to upkeep his appearance or that he was living rough. The heavy rings on his fingers were also a lot warmer than mere silver should be, even with being in contact with his body heat.
no subject
"Uh, no," He said, taking the hand up and brushing himself off a bit. Baby Tooth coming out of his hood to shaking her head, a bit dizzy from the landing. Jack shrugged at her. "Normally, I don't end up in random bars since I'm usually outside. Wind isn't here, either."
He was cut off from the Wind, actually. Which was a nerve wracking thought.
no subject
"I think that there has been a slight shift in worlds." A shrug as he sat down and crossed his legs at the ankles. "Again."

So maybe that's all he really needs.
There's contact when Jack slams halfway into Peter, just before he could fully duck out of the way (because Spidey senses do not account for people suddenly appearing out of literally no where), causing goosebumps to crawl up the length of his left arm.
Wow. That ... was unexpected.
"Uh hey, man," Peter starts, rubbing his arm. "You - you okay?"
no subject
Of course, then he realized it wasn't just Baby Tooth asking that question and looked up at the young man who asked him the question. He stayed silent, looking behind him to see if there was just someone else that the guy was looking at and Jack happened to be in the way.
Only there was no one else and what few people there were around walked right through him and he winced at the feeling.
no subject
And growing more and more awkward with each passing moment.
Maybe he can't hear? It hasn't occurred to him the guy could be deaf.
Okay.
"Uh - hey." Peter starts to wave his hands about, first as a means of getting Jack's attention, and then secondly in a greeting motion. "Hi. Can you hear me?"
no subject
Well, of course he could, he was spending time trying to get Jack's attention but... how? Jack was used to even children not believing in him. How could this guy believe in someone like him?
no subject
Like radioactive spider-bites. Giant lizards. The extremities of life and death. Spider-Man. Being winked into space by an omnipotent being. Omnipotent beings. The Enterprise. The fact that he's friends with a guy who is at least 3,000 years ahead of him.
... things like that would make anyone reconsider their belief systems.
Peter raises an eyebrow.
"Yeah. Yeah, I can see you. Why? Should I ... not be able to see you?"
Is this a case of 'I see dead people'?
Oh, shit.
He hopes Jack isn't ... well, dead.
(It would explain the cold upon contact.)
no subject
"Um, well. It's not that you're not suppose to not see me it's just... well, since when do people your age believe in things like Jack Frost without some sort of proof or something?"
Because he knew that were adults who still believed, but Jack Frost was just usually not on that list.
no subject
Colour Peter confused.
He's going to need a bit more elaboration on that, if you please.
"What exactly are you talking about?"
no subject
"Um. I'm Jack Frost."
