Canon Updating

Just a quick note to anyone who has regular contact or CR with my Henry Gold. He disappeared yesterday (22nd December) for his canon update. I'm very excited about this and I can't wait for him to return but that will definitely be after Christmas, possibly New Years depending on how mean I want to be to him.

I'll most likely make another post to let you guys know he's back and what his new status is. Hope everyone has a Happy Christmas!

OOC LOVE MEME

It's Christmas Eve here in Australia, and that means everyone's tired and feeling a little frazzled. And that's coming up in the rest of the world, too. The holidays can make us all feel down.

The obvious solution to this is a little love.

Here's how it works:

good evening, ten-forwarders! (enterprisers? forwardies? idk)

so in addition to all the other fantastic christmas + holiday shenanigans aboard the enterprise, peter parker, peter quill + in part, jack frost have all chipped in to provide an added layer of holiday cheer.

in just a bit, i'm going to be putting up a log of peter parker (and peter quill) rigging the comms panels to provide the ship with christmas music. it'll probably start off with some classics - bing crosby, frank sinatra, dean martin, etc. - and roll into more contemporary hits: stuff by paul mccartney, john lennon, bon iver, she & him, etc. and great 80's band covers probably provided by pquill.

feel free to have your character overhear and react to these ol' familiar hits or maybe some brand new ones, or if your character has never heard earth music before, feel free to gamora this up with a reaction of delight or pain, depending on their personal music tastes. ;)

because no one can stand 24 hours of straight up christmas music, this event is going to be pretty brief. i'm thinking about 5 ic hours, give or take. in ooc time, this is pretty much going to last for however long is necessary for your character to get in on it if they so desire! and please, i highly encourage everyone to get involved! dance around! sing along! go on some wild tirade about how THIS IS TOTALLY YOUR X-MAS JAM, etc.!

peter parker will probably be bopping around in the lounge, enjoying his mischief and is therefore totally opened for tagging right up until the point that a crew member shows up...and then he'll be on the run. ;)

As of this post, Mack Gerhardt, Dylan Hunt, and Khan Noonien Singh have been moved to the brig temporarily to serve out sentences for individual counts of rule-breaking. Tsk tsk, fellas.

They will be returned to their usual quarters once their sentences have been fulfilled. Visitors are permitted to mock check in on them while there. If a security officer is needed for anything, let us know on this post and we'll send someone over.
