Below is a list of all characters who did not participate in February's Activity Check, or who failed to pass. All characters listed below may be reclaimed at any time from now until 11:59pm EST (GMT-5) on February 27th. To reclaim a character, reply to this post with the required AC; if you did not make your AC, you may request a second chance.

After February 27th, any characters below who do not get reclaimed will be considered dropped, removed from our Taken list, and open for others to app.

Reminders

• AC requirements are: One (1) OTA Log/EP, and two (2) threads in two separate logs made by another player or one (1) thread and (1) Personal Log that has been cross-linked to the main comm
  • Characters who have been in the game less than three months may submit any TWO of the above proofs.
  • If you are on Hiatus, you are exempt from AC this week but will need to submit your proofs of activity when your hiatus is over (note: this only applies to players who filled out a hiatus request at the above link).
  • Applicants from January and February are exempt from AC this round, but we would like you to check in with us. Those who have not yet checked in are listed separately below.
• Characters must be reclaimed by their player
  • If your character(s) met activity, please provide your proofs of AC
  • If your character(s) did not meet activity and you have extenuating circumstances, a second chance may be requested on the understanding you must meet activity during our next Activity Check

Hey crew! We have a few updates for you today, including some Activity Check Announcements. We as a mod team have received some player concerns regarding January AC, so we have decided that to relieve the stress to our player base and mod team we are pushing AC back to February 14th-28th.

☆ Activity Checks: February 14th-28th: AC will be starting in February 14th, so please read everything below carefully, and if we missed one of your questions, remind us in the comments and we'll edit to add.

Dates: An AC post will go up February 14th, and be open for one week. You will have until 11:59pm EST (GMT-5) on February 20th to submit your AC. A warning post will go up the following day listing characters who did not pass, after which point you will have until 11:59pm EST (GMT-5) on February 27th to reclaim your character. If you fail to do so, your character will be removed from the game.

Required Proofs: We require three (3) proofs of activity, which should include one (1) OTA log posted to the main comm, and two (2) threads in two separate player's logs, ie: two tag-outs. These threads should each be a minimum of 15 tags total, meaning your character should have 7 or 8 tags per thread. Personal Logs (that is, threads conducted in a character's personal journal) that have been cross-linked to the main comm will also qualify for one of your proofs.

Other Rules & FAQs:

☆ Any activity following July 25th will qualify for this AC period.

☆ Threads should be of a substantial length – no starting a thread and dropping it right away just to meet requirements. We prefer to see completed threads, but anything over 15 tags will suffice.

☆ The mods will be looking for: (a) activity spread evenly over your active time in the game, (b) tags made to all characters, not just castmates or significant others, (c) more than just the bare minimum.

☆ If you have been a member of the community for less than 3 months, we'll accept two (2) proofs of activity, which may be one (1) log/EP and one (1) thread on someone else's log, OR two (2) threads on two separate player's logs. Thread minimums will remain the same.

☆ If you apped with us in January or February, you will be exempt from this round.

☆ If you are on hiatus during the AC period, you will be expected to submit your AC once your hiatus dates expire. We will give you the same two weeks everyone else gets to compile your AC and do any last minute threading if you did not meet AC prior to your hiatus. Note: this only applies to those who have submitted an official hiatus request with the mods.

☆ These requirements are for each character you play, so if you have more than one character in the game they will all need to pass AC.

☆ 3 qualifying proofs of activity over 6 months is the bare minimum to pass, so you must meet the above requirements. If you encountered a problem and are not going to make AC, but would like to stay in the game, contact the mods ASAP. We may give second chances to players who had extenuating circumstances.

Player Check-In (AC)

Ten Forward has a bi-annual Activity Check, once in January and once in July. Because so long passes between each AC, Ten Forward's players have voted for a monthly activity Check-In. Why do this? Because sometimes Real Life gets in the way, and we lose track of a game. Some players forget to visit the page to drop a character or put them on hiatus, and their casts are left wondering what happened to them.

So what are the requirements? Just let us know you're still alive! We have provided a form for you to fill out and drop in the comments section below. Ten Forward is designed to work with players who have busy lives, full-time jobs, full-time studies, and so forth; it's okay if you can't play for a while, so long as you meet AC every six months. We just want to make sure you're still with us.

What are the consequences of missing a Check-In? If you have not filled out a hiatus request and you miss two Check-Ins in a row, the mods will contact you to make sure you are all right. If you have not responded or participated by the third check-in, we will put your characters on a warning list and give you one additional week to check in with us. If you have not done so by the end of that week, we will consider your characters as being dropped from the game. Remember, no proofs of AC are required, you simply have to let us know you're still here.

Activity Check (AC)

Good evening, Ten Forward! It is time for our biannual activity checks. The requirements to pass are the following:

+ One Post (Log/EP) in the Main Comm
+ Two threads in another player's post of at least 15 comments total
   (OR one thread in another player's post of at least 15 comments total AND one personal log)

More than three proofs of activity can be linked if you fall short of one of these requirements (for instance: if you do not have a thread of 15 comments in length you can link two threads of 8 comments in length). If you are on Hiatus, you are exempt from AC this week but will need to submit your proofs of activity when your hiatus is over (note: this only applies to players who filled out a hiatus request at the above link). Applicants from December and January are also exempt from AC this round.

You have until 11:59pm EST (GMT-5) on January 18th to submit your AC. A warning post will go up the following day listing characters who did not pass, after which point you will have until 11:59pm EST (GMT-5) on January 24th to submit AC and reclaim your character. If you fail to do so, your character will be removed from the game.
