Guinan's Office: Ten Forward OOC

Oh, my lovely lovely minions Ten-Forward-ians, have we got a treat for you.

As you may have been aware, we've been setting up a Halloween mini-plot for you which, as of this post featuring the Captain as our patient zero (and more importantly this moments-earlier IC setup thread between Picard and Q), is live! Read along and follow our hero as he valiantly tries to defend all our honor and dignities from the maligning, marauding masquerading Q.

The quick rundown is this:

WHAT: Halloween mischief! Costumes! Candy! Mayhem!
WHEN: October 30th - November 3rd, Halloween weekend
WHO: Opt-in/Opt-out, open to everyone!
WHERE: Anywhere on the ship! The effects are Q-based, not localized to one area

Remember, all the fun ends and all your carriages turn back into pumpkins on Monday, and candy effects will not be permanent; the only affected treats are popcorn balls, taffy, and candy apples, so if you don't want your character getting mixed up in the powers and phobias and funny looks, stay away from those. The rest will all be normal candy, and there will be a few normally-functioning replicators sprinkled throughout the ship, you'll just have to go looking for them.
