June Apps Reminder!

Good evening, morning, or afternoon, Ten Forward!

Just a friendly reminder that June apps are closing TONIGHT at Midnight EDT (GMT-4)! That's Sunday going into Monday in the Eastern USA.

If you have a reserve, and can't get your app in on time, you automatically receive a small extension under our F.A.Q.s

Little Rascals: Mini Plots

Hi Everyone,

The sounds of kid’s voices and tiny feet racing around the Enterprise have not gone unnoticed by the crew and the assembled medical staff. There are plans to keep the kids entertained while the medical team work to find a resolution.

During the first week, the medical team will be identifying what's causing the virus in their plot posts, and will start developing inoculations. All characters are still highly contagious, until next weekend!

As for the kids, the bar is no place for a twelve year old to spend their free time. The crew have set aside a room for them to hang out in, and there are number of events planned to keep them occupied over the next two weeks!


Daddy Day Care:
Q has tampered with the room and while there are activities suitable for kid, there are some more suitable for a five year old.

Craft table: There are a variety of crafts laid out to keep everyone entertained. Let your imagination go wild! Characters can knit, make jewellery etc.
Art corner: Q has seen fit to provide the kids with large sheets of paper and finger paints.
Other: There will be a ball pit, space hoppers and skipping ropes for those who are more active!

Holodeck:
The holodeck has developed a watershed! From dawn until 9pm, no matter what a character requests the holodeck, it will only give them one of the three programs listed below. The adults will get to play too! After 9pm the adults will be able to access the full range of programs.

Pirate Ship: Arrrr! Gather a team, or go in alone for your very own swashbuckling adventure! Kidnap the princess, go looking for treasure or fight other pirates. Pirate songs are encouraged!
Moon Landing: Gravity? What is gravity? Characters will float through the holodeck, and across the moon. For the adventurous kids, Q will provide you with a few small aliens to contend with!
King Tut’s Tomb: Explorer hats are a must! Characters will work their way through the tomb. Watch out for those traps!

Events:
There will be a couple of event logs posted for characters to tag into. Please note, you don't have to do all of them! You can pick and choose what suits you.


Hide and Seek (Jun 9th):
Riker, sensing that everyone is growing restless, will organise a mass game of hide and seek across the ship. He will be available to answer questions about the contagion! Characters can plot to hide or seek.

Flotter (12th):
The holodeck will make one exception to the three adventures. Tom Paris wants to show the kids Flotter in the holodeck, as adventures and ways to entertain the new kids and show them this universe’s fairytales: Adventures of Flotter

Sports Day (Jun 16th):
Sack races, egg and spoon races, running races, three legged races! An old fashioned Sports Day will take place. Powers will not be permitted to level the playing field.


Food Fight (June 19th):
With a few volunteers or a nudge from Q, a food fight will break out where the kids are having dinner. Will your character hide under the table, or sling the food back?
