Reserves are now OPEN for the October app period! Click the link and follow the instructions to reserve with us.

Reserves will remain open for two weeks, closing on September 30th, just prior to apps opening on October 1st.

Sickbay: Round Four, check-ups and post-plot recuperation

There is an open log for sickbay checkups and post-plot visitation right over here! Doctors on deck tonight include: Julian Bashir, Trance Gemini, and Simon Tam, with our good Doctor Beverly Crusher available by request only. If you have a medical pup and are interested in volunteering in sickbay, just leave a comment here and we'll get you set up. Beverly has a top-thread in her office for any characters wishing to inquire IC about volunteering.

For characters returning from Alemar III: If you just want your character available for visitors but don't need a medical character to see to you, put "Visiting Post" in your subject line so other players know you're open to threads (if you want to lock your visiting post to certain characters only, please specify that). Otherwise, put the name of the doctor you wish to see in the subject line of your tag.

For new characters: If you're new to the game, it's standard Enterprise procedure to quarantine those who have winked onto the ship until they can be checked for any terrible space diseases. Your character will be required to visit Sickbay for a standard check-up and a vaccine if necessary. Tagging in is optional and can be done at your leisure; if you prefer to handwave your character getting the all-clear from the docs, that is allowed. If you are tagging in, specify the name of the doctor you want in the subject line of your tag, and they'll tag you as soon as they're available.

Once your character has been cleared medically, they'll be released from the initial quarantine (of Ten Forward and the guest quarters only), assigned permanent rooms, and allowed to move more freely around the ship. Restricted areas are, of course, still off-limits (such as the bridge, engine rooms, conference rooms, etc). Rooming assignments will be done over the weekend.
